Meghan Lavalee, Executive Director of Apprenticeship Manitoba and Board Chair for CERIC. Meghan will be speaking on the following topic:
Trades in a Time of Transition: Career Development and the Skilled Trades in Manitoba.
Meghan Lavalee Biography:
Meghan Lavallee sees career development in everything we do. She currently holds the position of Executive Director with Apprenticeship Manitoba, supporting the development of careers in the skilled trades. She is also the Board Chair for CERIC: Advancing Career Development in Canada, supporting the organization’s work for CDPs and career influencers across Canada. Meghan has a background in post-secondary and not-for-profit, previously working with the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technologies (MITT), the University of Manitoba, and Career Trek.
Update on National Certification for Career Development Professionals (CDPs)
Gail Langlais, Chair, National Certification Advisory Committee (NCAC) will provide a brief update about the new certification process and what it means for Manitoba. Gail will also be available to answer your questions.
