Sport Manitoba Scholarships

Offers a number of scholarships annually, with the shared goal of highlighting athletic success in the province and providing opportunities for those involved in sport to continue growing within their chosen discipline.

Manitoba Metis Federation

Provides the Manitoba Métis community with funding to access educational opportunities at the post-secondary level.

Provides bursaries, scholarships and awards to indigenous students.

United Mentoring Network - United Way Winnipeg

Provides program for 1800 youth with mentoring opportunities in Winnipeg.

Children's Hospital Research Institute

Supports an ongoing relationship between new investigators and their selected mentors. The new investigator can choose one or two mentors having both a career/academic mentor as well as a scientific/research mentor.

Creative Manitoba - Mentorship Programs

Provides exposure, support and opportunity for growth towards careers in the arts in three distinct program streams: Professional Mentorship Program, Group Mentorship Program and Rural Mentorship Program.

Futures Forward

Offers accessible services and transitional supports for current and former youth in care. We assist youth ages 15-29 in the areas of mental health, housing, employment, education, and financial counselling.

Rural Health Mentorship Program

Enables students to learn about the clinical and non-clinical aspects of the health care system in rural Manitoba.

MentorAbility Canada

Facilitates unique, short-term mentoring opportunities between employers and people experiencing a disability.

ABC Literacy

Touches on all areas of literacy, from family and workplace literacy to financial and digital literacy.

Individuals  can find self-study materials for learning English.
