  • Post articles/community resources/'aha moments' on social media.
  • Write an article to post on CareerWise  and/or Canadian Journal of Career Development.
  • Discover ways to manage stress related to your role; make self-care a practice.
  • Read articles such as:  Career Development is a SUPERPOWER
  • Become a member of MACD  to benefit from free professional development, networking and so much more!
  • Register for and attend the "Let's Get to Work" conference  on Friday, November 1, 2024.
  • Share a career development tip for personal or career growth on social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
  • Post a reel on TikTok about events/activities for Career & Workforce Development Month.
  • Get your clients involved, i.e. help them to see the power of strong communication skills among colleagues, ask them to promote the workplaces they have enjoyed working at most and why.
  • Schedule a coffee chat or meal with a colleague to learn more about their role.
  • Read a book such as: Strengthening Mental Health Through Effective Career Development: A Practitioner’s Guide.  Career development practice is a mental health intervention and this book provides skills and strategies to support career development practitioners in their work.
